Description: This is a 600 s.f. remodel of a 3 bedroom 2 bath home. The client wanted to add on to the house to create a better space for their growing family. We responded by creating an addition that transformed the cramped and dated kitchen, living and dining room into a large open great room. We also expanded the two kids bedrooms, added large windows and added large closets. The kitchen was remodeled and opened up to the great room, a new island with cooktop provides casual seating for entertaining and a spot to hang out and chat with the cook. We were able to vault the ceiling in the living room which provides ample seating and storage via a built-in credenza which can double as seating for entertaining. The new oversized sliding glass doors and windows provide natural light and views out to the mountains beyond. A double sided fireplace provides ambiance inside and warmth for outdoor dining and entertainment on the large patio. Wow, I didn’t expect this! is usually peoples reaction when they enter this home for the first time.
